This week's update contains 2 updates. With [Update #7] I started to add sound effects to the game alongside implementing a sound manager. Because I was not finished with all the sound effects at the end of last week I decided to wait and release a bigger update with [Update #8].

 I added basic sound effects for the most important things, like player, explosion, and UI sounds. All the sound effects are subject to change in future updates. I just wanted to start adding them now and improve them over time.  

Alongside adding the missing sound effects of [Update #7] in [Update #8], I also worked on a menu overhaul. I added an options menu to the game featuring visual, audio, control, and performance options. Additionally, in the controls section of the options menu, I added a controller layout screen to change between different controller layouts and controller types (Xbox, Playstation, Switch Pro). I added slider and toggle buttons to the game and improved the normal buttons to make the menus look coherent and feel responsive.

[Update #9] will add the missing music to the game :)
