Large parts of Fracture Hell were overhauled for the Steam release. Additionally, a new game mode was added, 4 new player classes with unique abilities and weapons were introduced, new enemies found their way into the game, new bullet behaviors like explosive, fragmenting, and homing were implemented.

MAIN FEATURES

• 4 New Classes: Specialist, Demolitionist, Technician, and Sniper 
• The old player class was reworked as the Gunner class
• New Endless Game Mode. 
• Hardcore and Ironman Modifiers added to further increase the difficulty, work both with the arena and endless game mode.
• Alongside the 4 new classes, 4 unique Abilities were implemented. Cloaking for the sniper, Haste Area for the Gunner, Sonar Mines for the Demolitionist, and Homing Drones for the Tech
• 8 New Weapons were added to the game. 
• New Enemies like the Tech (spawns towers and comes in 3 variants), Spawners (spawn other enemies, comes in 2 variants), and the shielder (slow, does not do any damage but acts as a bullet sponge) were added
• Elite and Boss Modifiers were added to enemies changing their stats and making them more deadly but also more rewarding
• New Bullet Behaviours (explosive, homing, fragmenting, piercing)

• Basically, all UI elements were overhauled
• New Main Menu Background and Title
• New Welcome Screen (showing on the first startup and when the game is reset)
• New Game Mode Selection Screen

• Improved HUD for the player
• Overhauled Upgrade Screen
• Overhauled Pause Menu
